Special Interests: Albaugh's research interests include the investigation of the mechanisms of weight loss surgery, identification of patients who benefit most from surgical weight loss, as well as investigation of other lifestyle, dietary and medical treatments for weight loss and diabetes.
He serves as Assistant Professor of Metabolic Surgery at Pennington Biomedical Research Center and Louisiana State University, as well as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.Dr.
