Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Healthy System Exectuives Named in Becker's 'Highly Successful CEO-CFO Duos' List

Baton Rouge, LA — The CEO and CFO of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS) were recently recognized in Becker’s Hospital Review’s Highly Successful CEO-CFO Duos list. E.J. Kuiper, president and chief executive officer, and Mike Gleason, executive vice president, chief financial officer, were featured on a list of 30 executive duos recognized for their leadership, innovation, financial expertise and visionary thinking.

Kuiper joined FMOLHS in 2024, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in Catholic healthcare. In his role as president and CEO, he guides a team of dedicated leaders who oversee the operations of the $4-billion nonprofit health organization. Kuiper was also recognized in 2024 by Becker’s Hospital Review as a CEO Influencer to Know.
Gleason joined the health system in 2023, overseeing the financial and information services (IS) operations for FMOLHS. His 30 years of healthcare experience include both the provider and payor sides of the industry, in addition to having created three health plans in his past. Gleason has been recognized previously by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the Top 125 Hospital and Health Systems CFOs.
