St. Dominic’s Chief Medical Officer Recognized as a 2025 ‘CMO to Know’ by Becker’s Healthcare

Jackson, MS – St. Dominic's, part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS), is proud to announce their VP Chief Medical Officer Teri Dyess, MD has been named one of 2025’s “CMOs to Know” by Becker’s Healthcare.

“Dr. Teri Dyess has been an integral part of St. Dominic’s since 2013,” said Jeremy Tinnerello, market president. “In that time, her leadership has had a profound impact on all aspects of our hospital.”

Dr. Dyess has over a decade’s experience with St. Dominic’s, overseeing critical areas including quality, infection control and case management. Among her many accomplishments, she expanded the hospital medicine program from two physicians to 60. In addition to her administrative duties, Dr. Dyess remains a practicing hospitalist and is an active contributor to state-level health initiatives. As a fellow of the American College of Physicians, she serves as a physician liaison.

Becker’s Healthcare acknowledges the pivotal role CMOs play in maintaining high quality standards, patient safety, and risk management.
