A sub-specialist in maternal-fetal medicine with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Jazayeri joins the largest OB-GYN team in the region at Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital. He provides patient-centered care focusing on management of high-risk pregnancies complicated by maternal medical disease and/or fetal conditions. Dr. Jazayeri is an expert in ultrasound imaging of the fetus and the pregnant woman, utilizing this tool to monitor, manage and treat complicated high-risk pregnancies.

Dr. Jazayeri firmly believes in continuing pregnancy as long as possible to allow intrauterine growth and development of the fetus. He collaborates with the obstetrical and neonatal teams on early deliveries to ensure the best outcome when there is evidence of fetal or maternal compromise. He works with the patient and her family to reach decisions that are evidence-based, decisions that have the support of both the medical team and the family.

A Board Certified and Fellowship-trained urogynecologist, Dr. Seymour specializes in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He brings years of experience and a long-standing tradition of caring for stress and urge continence, uterine prolapse and other pelvic problems resulting from childbirth.

Dr. Seymour served as Chief of Clinical Services and Senior Medical Officer during Operation: Iraqi Freedom at U.S. Army Health Clinic at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, and Senior Medical Officer at U.S. Army Base Camp Al Sayliya outside Doha, Qatar. He had private urogynecology practices in Florida and Pennsylvania and previously practiced at Women’s & Children’s Hospital from 2008 to 2013.

A Board Certified nurse midwife and Board Certified women’s health nurse practitioner, Mary Jazayeri assists expecting moms with natural childbirth techniques guidance, other delivery services, education on alternative labor pain control methods, prenatal and postpartum care services and ER assessment and treatment.

Certified nurse midwives are registered nurses who successfully completed a national certification exam after graduating from a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by the American Midwifery Certification Board. A registered nurse for nearly 40 years, Mary held various positions in private and academic practice in Labor & Delivery units at hospitals in Florida, Louisiana, New York, Texas and Wisconsin before coming to Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
