Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Welcomes Dr. Sakshi Bami

BATON ROUGE, LA – Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health is excited to announce that Sakshi Bami, MD, has been added to the organization’s growing team of providers. Dr. Bami provides comprehensive patient care and specializes in the field of Hematology and Oncology.
Dr. Bami earned her medical degree from Terna Medical College in Navi Mumbai, India. She then completed her residency in pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Health Science Center located in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Northwell Health, in New Hyde Park, New York.
She is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Children’s Oncology Group and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Having completed various poster presentations and publications throughout the course of her academic career, Dr. Bami is highly regarded among her colleagues.
