Winter Weather | Communication No.7

Team,

The Winter Weather event has passed and the sun is starting to shine. We are continuing to monitor roadway conditions to ensure the safety of our team members. Thank you for your tremendous efforts during the winter storm. 

Effective at 7 a.m. we are ALL CLEAR Code Gray.

See below for updates and reminders:

Activation Teams 
Activation night shift will be free to leave at the end of their shift at 7 a.m. on Thursday, January 23.

Activation day teams will be free to leave at the end of their shift at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 23.

Please check road closures before leaving our facilities. If you are concerned about traveling, contact your leader. 

Recovery Teams 
Recovery night teams will report for duty on Thursday, January 23 at 7 p.m.

Recovery day teams will report for duty on Friday, January 24 at 7 a.m. 

Recovery teams are estimated to run for the next 48 hours. Please check with your local leader for your schedule and shifts over the next two days. 

Reopenings 
Elective surgeries will resume at Noon on Thursday, January 23.

Outpatient tests will resume as early as 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 23. 

The Lourdes Physician Group call center will be open all day tomorrow to triage clinic appointment requests. 

Sleeping Space 
Before starting your shift, please gather your personal belongings, tidy up your space and vacate your sleeping area. We ask that you deflate your air mattress and return it to plant operations. This will allow our EVS team to begin cleaning these areas for our patients. 

ACC – Linens can be dropped off in the bins next to the back of house elevators on the first floor. 

WCH & HH – Please check with your leader and EVS teams about linen return.

Meals & Cafeteria Hours 
Below are the remaining meals that will be provided and free of charge for activated team members.

• Dinner | 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
• Midnight Lunch | Sandwiches and snacks will be delivered to units
• Breakfast | 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. 

Code Gray Clocking Instructions 
The cost center and GL account pay code for Code Gray is 4555-8506. When on shift, please code to your home department. (Activation pay begins when the Code is called.) Click here for Clock In Guidelines.
