If your child has issues with diabetes, hormone imbalances, puberty, thyroid disorders or other glandular conditions, you’ll want to consult the skilled pediatric endocrinology team at Our Lady of Lourdes Children's Health Endocrinology. We meet with families on the second floor of the Our Lady of Lourdes Children's Specialty Center in Lafayette five days a week.
Our Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist is specially trained to identify, treat and manage endocrine disorders in children, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, abnormal growth, disorders of puberty and pituitary hormone deficiencies. Our team also includes a certified diabetes care and education specialist, who makes managing diabetes a little easier for children and their families through education and support. She also serves as a patient advocate during clinic appointments and hospital stays, helping caregivers better understand the proven skills and strategies for effective management of their child’s diabetes.
The process starts with a visit to your pediatrician or family doctor, who will provide you with a referral to a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist.
