Our Lady of the Lake Health Spiritual Care Resources

Providing spiritual support for patients and their families is a big part of who we are and the care we provide at Our Lady of the Lake Health. As part of a Catholic health system, our team members are called to serve in a healing ministry of Jesus Christ. As such, our team is always available to pray with you and your loved ones—regardless of any religious affiliation.

We also offer spiritual support through our Pastoral Care team, which includes priests, Sisters, ordained clergy and volunteers who will visit with you during your stay in the hospital. Simply call (225) 765-8896 or tell your nurse that you would welcome a visit from our Pastoral Care team.

Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center

In addition, our chapel on the first floor in the main lobby of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center is always open to patients and their loved ones for quiet prayer and meditation. Mass is celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Sunday to Friday in the St. Agnes of Assisi Chapel for those who wish to attend services. No mass is held on Saturday.

Our Lady of the Lake Assumption Community Hospital

Our Lady of the Assumption Community Hospital has an intimate chapel located on a private hall and is always open to patients and their loved ones for quiet prayer and meditation.

Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital

Catholic Mass is offered at our Children’s Hospital on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel located on the first floor. A daily closed captioning television devotional is offered daily at 11 a.m.
