As team members, we share our gifts and talents to create a spirit of healing for all those entrusted to our care. Our team is all hands in!

Team Member Giving is our annual campaign where we come together once more to lend support to areas of our health system. From helping to build the children’s hospital to providing lifesaving equipment to furthering education and training for departments, the campaign makes a significant impact each year. Proudly, team members have pledged over $1 million in support since 2016.

We invite you to give a gift this year. You can participate in this year's campaign in multiple ways:

2023 Initiatives:

• NEW! Music Therapy: Gifts will support the creation and development of a music therapy program for the Baton Rouge market. Clinical interventions based on scientific research indicate that music therapy may alleviate pain, ease anxiety, enhance quality of life, improve breathing, reduce depression and regulate heart rate and blood pressure for the patients in our care.
• Clinical Research: Gifts will support the ongoing expansion of our program, deepening our commitment to discovery through research and evidence-based practice in both adult and pediatric populations, improving patient care and discovering new treatments and tests for diseases.
• OLOL Fund: Gifts provide hopsital leadership with the flexibilty to meet the changing needs of our patients and staff, react to unforseen challenges and pursue opportunities that lie on the horizon.

How do I sign up?

• Visit ololrmc.com/teammembergiving and give a gift through payroll deduction or by credit card.

When will my deduction begin?

• Your donation will be deducted from the first or second payroll cycle after you sign up.

When is the deadline to sign up?

• This year's campaign is open from September 6 - October 6.

Are there incentives for giving during this year's campaign?

• Team members who give a gift of $5 or more per pay period will receive a t-shirt that has been approved to wear onsite Friday through Sunday. Plus, all who participate will be entered to win two tickets to one of the seven LSU home football games.

When will I receive my t-shirt for donating?

• Team members will receive their t-shirt for giving at the $5 per pay period level in November or December. We order the t-shirts after the campaign ends so that we know what sizes are needed. T-shirts will be unisex sizing.

Are my deductions tax deductible?

• Yes. You will receive a tax letter from Our Lady of the Lake Foundation in January for the previous calendar year's giving.

What if I'm already donating through payroll deduction?

• Team members who signed up last year or have an ongoing deduction do not need to sign up again this year. Your contributions can be managed in Oracle. Instructions can be viewed here.
