Our Lady of Lourdes Health Announces Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Our Lady of Lourdes Health, part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS), is pleased to announce the appointment of two key members to its executive team: Jeremy Rogers, MHA, FACHE as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Christi Pierce, DSc, MBA, MSHA as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Both Rogers and Pierce have long been integral members of the FMOLHS ministry; Rogers since 2018 as CFO/COO at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA and Pierce since 2001 serving at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, most recently as the VP of Quality and Academic Affairs. Rogers will begin as CFO, succeeding interim CFO, Lowell Stanton, on April 22, 2024. Pierce will begin as COO, succeeding current COO, Donna F. Landry, on June 3, 2024.

Rogers brings a wealth of financial and operational experience to Lourdes. During his time at St. Francis, he led unprecedented growth and market expansion while maintaining a focus on the mission and core values of the organization. Prior to his tenure at St. Francis, Rogers served in various healthcare executive roles, including CFO at The NeuroMedical Center, VP of Revenue Cycle at Amedisys, and COO for Baton Rouge General Physicians. A native of Lafayette, he attended Comeaux High School before continuing his education at the University of North Alabama. He then earned a master of health services administration from LSU-Shreveport. He is a Certified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Medical Group Management Association.
Pierce has an extensive background in acute and ambulatory patient care settings with a focus on operations, quality and performance improvement. During her over 20 years of service to Our Lady of the Lake, she has led initiatives that significantly impacted revenue growth, cost savings and quality outcomes. Her daily actions reflect her commitment to the FMOLHS mission and she is dedicated to the Franciscan Sisters, serving for several years as a Franciscan Lay Associate. Pierce holds a bachelor of science from the University of Alabama and masters degrees in business administration and health administration, and a doctorate of science in healthcare leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a GE Healthcare Master Change Agent, a Six Sigma Green Belt, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and was awarded Tomorrow’s Leader by the Catholic Health Association in 2015.
